I just sold my 435. Not a bad saw for the money.
Only one dislike about the saw, it is the purge bulb.
I just don't see the point of a purge bulb on a chainsaw. It's just something else that can fail.

The saw costs $269 new, so not a bad price for what you get.
No problems at all with my 435, I just needed to raise some money, and this saw was first to go.

I'm a big fan of the 30cc to 40cc saws. Great for storm cleanup. Nice to have a light weight saw to cut up all the branches that come down in a storm.

Would I recommend this saw.
Yes.

Would I buy another one. Probably not.

The Stihl MS211 non cbe is $10 more, and I have a stack of bars and chains that will fit it.
The last pic of my 435.

If removing the fuel mix for storage the purge bulb is rather nice. Dump out fuel, push purge bulb, dump out the few drops, run dry. It will save a minute or so of idling the saw. One of the things I read on here that works out well. Not that I run stuff dry on purpose very often.

Purge bulbs are simply to remove air from the fuel lines and carb for faster starting. They are also very handy for testing fuel lines, carb check valves and tank vents.
