If a bar stud is leaking bar oil is the case cracked/damaged? Is it repairable? Thanks for any info.

Do you see a crack right where the stud attaches?
Did you try removing the stud to see if its cracked inside?
I never actually heard of that happening but threw in my 2 cents worth of questions any way.
If the stud is surrounded by the oil tank then I guess it could off cracked in the threads and made a leak.
that might be a good place for some jb weld or maybe some type of oil resistant gasket form.
