husky limited coils

I have a husky 450 that I just put a modified muffler on. in tuning it I was going to try by ear but am not sure I could tell the difference between rev limiter and 4 stroking.

are all limited coils on husqvarna saws blue? the coil in my saw is black but have read quite a bit that says the unlimited coils are black and the limited ones are blue or greenish. is the color a definite indicator?

The unlimited is the black coil.
Try tuning it again and if it doesn't respond like it should then put a new kit in the carb.

ok so black is unlimited for sure? I have not tried to tune the carb yet. will try to walk it up at wot till it doesn't 4stroke. then come back to a light 4stroke unloaded and stick it in some wood. thanks.
