For sale is a great running husqvrana 272. During covid we had two 272xp saws that needed cylinders so we put them together. They have been used here and there but it time to let them go. Since good 272 cylinders seem to become more rare than hen's teeth, we had some 288 cylinders machined down to fit on the 272 cases. We have two of these saws. The one in the pictures in the one being sold. The 288 cylinders are OEM. The cases were split and the crank bearings were replaced with skf French made 6202 factory spec parts. I'm curious to see if anyone else has any luck doing these conversions. They definitely out perform the stock to 272. Please feel free to asking any questions. The cylinders have been ported to bring the timing back to operating specs. The exhaust comes in at 160 the transfers are 130 and intake is 160. The flywheel has been lightened for performance and to clear the larger cylinder. I am asking $500 plus shipping.

Are oem 272 cylinders not available in the states?
