Husqvarna 350 Plastic Clamp Replacement

Don't overtighten the carb cap screws.Can put a nut on the back of the manifold if necessary but its painful.

I think a Stihl 290 clamp will work on the Husqvarna..

There was no way I was taking mine off. So, I cut the wall out with a die grinder and a carbide burr just enough to get it all through. Had to make it in two pieces. The inner piece sits in the saw, flush with the saws wall edge and the outer piece secures it. It's thin material so I didn't want to weld or braze it. I managed to get 2 rivets in, in places somewhat away from the edge of the carb's wall but still had to grind back some so it didn't sit on a rivet head.
If someone had access to a 3D printer they could make and sell these. After all, who wants to pull the cylinder when there is no reason too ?

A couple of mine I still haven't done but I keep an eye on them and listen for a lean out sound. On most of these saws taking the cylinder off isn't that difficult..

If you don’t have a metal clamp available , this works well as an
option .

The muffkin bolts are just a belt and braces thing .

One of our members drilled a couple of holes in the tabs on the plastic clamps and inserted a small bolt in it. I haven't tried that one yet but I need to do something pretty soon.
