Because OEM is so much nicer.... or... Kafar cylinder doesn't handle porting well..? Just curious. Great looking saw there, would love to see a video of it running after ported

I have experienced only one Kafar but the exhaust port was way high, the upper transfer was way low and the ex port was way small and off center. If you grind the ex port out to where it should be, the wall will be paper thin or gone.

I think the videos are worthless. UNLESS a stock saw with the same bar and chain are run in sequence.

Yeah I'm glad it's gone thismorning too I have a rebuilt muff modded 350 that I don't use I really didn't need a 353 to sit next to it that I wouldn't use either....

I'd pull the cylinder and piston and sell just that, and put a hyway nikisal 346xp cylinder on it, after giving the new cylinder a mild port and polish job. maybe even give the saw a coat a wax, then brag about it with pictures here ! LOL

AM kit would kill the resale value of this saw... Ported or not.
