Does anyone know how to remove the accelerator pump from my Husky 359? It has a Walbro carb.
It needs to be cleaned but I don’t see any method of removing it!
Thanks

It’s a non-serviceable part, with no replacement. Not from Walbro, and certainly not from Husky. If the accelerator pump is giving you problems you’re best off to just swap in a new carb. Destructive disassembly of the carb to access the accelerator pump can be done, but unless you have a machinist friend who will turn a few micro bits of brass rod stock on a lathe, there isn’t much point. When the pump goes, it’s due to wear, not dirt.
A non-accelerator pump carb model will work as well as a carb with the pump, although acceleration may be a hair less snappy.
