Really nice 359 with 357 piston/cylinder for sale. Base gasket removed and muffler modded. Has the Walbro HDA 199 carb that has been "fixed" by tree monkey. 20" bar/chain running .050 chisel. Wanting $400.00 through pay pal.

If u don't mind me asking how much does tree monkey charge for the fix I'm doing this same build right now myself?

This is a very nice lookin saw & a 357xp top-end is just the Right thing to do to a 359.
Got to love the compression ya get with these! :)

Oh and I have a couple Treemonkey fixed 199 carbs, good stuff!!!

Not real excited about selling this saw, but my brother has ordered a new 562XPG from the local dealer and his 555 wants me for its new owner!!!!!
Sure I could keep both, but dont have the finances to it that way.:(

I have both ported and I'd get rid of the 562 before the 357
You know! My 562 is stock and I like it. 357 is ported and will never be sold. The 359/357 I just built is stock, except for a bump to 200 psi and is a keeper for sure, it will get ported later.

Not knocking the 562/555, just sayin I like the 359/357 more. :)

What is it you like about the 359/357 saws more than the 562/555? My biggest concern is the electric business(auto tune). I like the feature, but I can always turn screws and tune....................hooking up to a computer, and monkeying around with a carb, I dont know?????

Thats just it I have had both and sold my last 562xp last night if have trouble on the 359 if u know anthing bout tuning a saw u can fix it, the 562xp had trouble I was off to the dealer which really ain't no big deal for cookie cutters but when u log its awful, just saying

Dont get me wrong I love the 562xp there a great saw I never had a 550 0r 555 but I like a saw I can work on.

The 562 is fine and I've had no trouble in 3 years of use. But I like to port my saws & tune them myself. The 357 is just easier for me to mess with.

The electrics on the auto tune saws have not been a problem at all. But there have been a few bad carbs. A good dealer can take care of a problem.

I've been saying for a while the 555 is the best 'new' firewood saw out there. So you can't really go wrong with any of these saws mentioned here.

I know where the 562 went he sold last night :) Happy with the purchase and was a good deal......If I had to depend on a saw for all my income...well I would be a little concerned about the autotune. I personally feel like autotune is a great system. Generally, dealer support in our area is poor to awful. If I have a real issue in my mind the only logical thing for me to do is make the 1 hour and 30 minute drive to Terry's. Without him being within driving distance I would be a little more concerned.
