I have a 394xp that I’m in a dilemma on weather to make it a project or trade for something else. It’s not real easy on the eyes, but I believe it could be fixed up for a good runner. Biggest thing is it has some nasty looking scarring on left crank case side on oil reservoir. It seems some oil out around cap but I honestly think it could be fixed with some jb weld if you was looking for functional and not cosmetically nice. When I got the saw I tried cranking and it would pop off but go dead, checked compression and it was at like 85/90 so I pulled it apart and pulled piston off cause it needed to be replaced and put cylinder back on (it will clean up fine) to keep crank clean and was gonna fix it then funds got tight for awhile and it’s been like that ever since. Was gonna see if any trade offers caught my attention but if not, I believe I’ll try to fix it
