Husqvarna 45 oil tank vent

Hi,could someone please tell me where the oil tank vent is on this saw.There is a notch on the tank housing at the filler cap could that be it?If so should there be a washer or o ring inside the cap?Oil pump stopped working and I have stripped and cleaned and checked all the revelant parts

I have had one for many years and have replaced the bearings and seals on it, have not seen an oil tank vent as such on it when it was stripped down, the cap might be a vent, does the cap have a breather hole in it/ My saw is not home here with me, it`s miles away at my summer place currently held hostage by a ice covered lake,no access.

Thanks for reply,if there is a vent in the cap I cant find it.

I actually went and looked up the IPL for it an it does not show one there as a part. Just a guess on the cap ,so if there is no separate part as a vent then it likely vents through or around the cap somehow.
