Husqvarna 450 x-torq

Hello, may have the opportunity to get ahold of a Husqvarna 450 x-torq. It is in decent condition overall. The place has $130 on it and all I have ever had are Stihls. Is it worth the money? I’ve got three 028 Stihls, an 026 and an 029 Super. The super, I think, is roughly similar in size/performance to this husqvarna 450. I don’t need the husqvarna saw but for $130 I’d say it’s not a bad snag? Any and all thoughts/advice are greatly appreciated.

I think the 450 is a good home owner saw and $130 is a fair price if it's in good shape, but I would never pick it up over a pro saw, even if it's an older 026. Although I do keep one home owner saw (455 rancher) for when friends and family come asking to borrow one of my saws.

I have a 450 x torq and it has worked well for me. I let my dad use it when he's helping me cut up a tree. Always starts in 3 pulls unlike the stihls they are about 7 pulls when cold.

I’ve got a 450 and my neighbor gave me his 445. Two friends have them as well.

Always start up no problem. For $130 it’s a great deal.

They really are a great saw. That's my biggest complaint with stihl is no primer button. The husky starts every time and is many steps above a poulan pro.

Sounds good at 130. To point out the obvious, check its condition. Did he clean the air filter religiously? is an important consideration.
