Specs are a great help but they don't paint the whole picture. The Ms 290's power rating isn't far off a 346/550 or 261 but it won't hold a candle next to one. Tons of things to factor in when reading specs. I've got a list of specs for pretty much every Husqvarna saw ever made. What looks good on paper doesn't always make the grade in the cut. The 357xp for example looked like a beast on paper, and its nice saw. But it's nothing like the numbers may lead a person to believe.
