Husqvarna 51 dies

I just put a new Husky 55 Cylinder and piston on my 51. After running for a minute or so at fast idle it dies. If I loosen the gas cap and re tighten it then it runs again for another minute. It acts like a plugged gas tank vent somewhere but I cannot find it. When I put the new cylinder on it I made sure the little air transfer hole was open. I don't know what you call it. Any ideas?
