I would like to trade my Husqvarna 55 Rancher w\ air injection for a project saw in decent condition.
Saw is not new, a bit scratched up but it runs. Has 180lbs compression. It's the open port, 53cc, non-decomp cylinder. Set up for .325 chain right now, with a usable 18" bar.
Known issues include the choke rod end is broken (see picture) but it's functional. The gas cap also leaks a little fuel. Haven't ran it but maybe 1\2 tank through it since I got it and rebuilt the carb, fuel line+filter.
Looking for 70cc+, like 372xp, 385, 390xp, or Jonsered equivalents, maybe a 562 or a Dolmar, or similar?
I don't want a clapped out hunk of junk, I want something decent that will be a solid saw after a rebuild or whatever it needs.
Or something else? Maybe I'm a little out in left field with my desired saws? Throw something at me!
