Husqvarna 55R swap??

Is there a different cylinder that can go in place of a stock 55 rancher cylinder? just thinking about getting a little more out of it without having it ported.

I'm guessing porting is going to be the only way maybe?

I think they used 3 different cylinders in the 55 series over the years, 45mm open port, 46mm open and 46mm closed port, not sure which the 55R used. Timing advance, base gasket delete, muffler mods should help it out. I have also read you can use a Stihl 028 super 46mm pop up piston for substantial gains. I'm getting ready to try it.
