husqvarna 575 just dies

Got a used Huqvarna 575xp and it runs great for about 20 minutes at a time and then just dies. I pulled the plug and spun it over and it appear to have spark still. Wont start until it cools down completely. Noticed it seems like smoke coming from under pull cord cover after it runs but I dont see any chafing of anything. Any ideas are appreciated

Go for the obvious things first. Fresh mix, new plug, clean/new filter, no mouse nest in muffler, no cracks in coil wire to plug, no cylinder scoring in cylinder etc etc..

Not trying to insult your intelligence, just suggesting common issues.

If your saw starts up again after completely cooling down...you likely have a bad coil

Especially with smoke coming from under the recoil cover...take to shop for checking..!!

Starving for fuel, check the tank vent.
