Can anyone here provide us the CR/SKF/National/etc industrial #'s for these Husqvarna crank seals?

1)503 26 02-04 as used on the 61/266/268/272 saws. These saws use common 6202 bearings.

2)503 26 02-05 as used on the 281/288XP and 285/1100/2100/298/2101 saws (and probably others). These saws use common 6203 bearings.

I have National 471466 and SKF 6904 numbers for another saw series (Poulan 4200-8500) that uses the 6203 bearings. Those should work, as long as the seal body width is compatible. Can anyone confirm this (or say it won't work)?

I'm going to be picking up some other seals at the local bearing house (SKF 4913 seals for a Poulan Micro and a Homelite XL2) and would like to be able to pick up some seals for my 288XP, 2100CD, and Poulan 5200 at the same time.

Thanks.

OEM seals for the 272 and 288/2100 families are going to be a better idea. The 272 seals measure out to 26 x 15mm and I don't see a generic replacement for those in Applied Industrial's or Motion Industrie's catalogs. The 288 seal measures out to 28 x 17mm and there's only one generic replacement for those and it's a single lip seal. All of the OEM seals I've seen are double lip and only $3-4 more each than the generics.

Get out your dial calipers and measure the housing bore. The actual seal O.D. needs to be .002" or .003" larger than the bore for a force/crush fit. Post the measurement and I'll look in my old C.R. book tomorrow.

The seal I.D. or shaft size will be 15mm for the #202 bearing and 17mm for the #203. Divide by 25.4 to get inch size.

I have a pair of 15mm x 25mm x 5mm single lip w/garter spring you can have. (they fell thru the housing on the P-41. close but no cigar.)
