Husqvarna flippy caps

Are these caps supposed to be hard to unscrew when new? The gas cap seems pretty easy but the oil cap is harder? Will this get easier with time, I can live with this minor issue but was wondering if it is normal

They're only as tight as you screw them in[emoji4] if its brand new there might be some ham fisted Swedish guy screwing the caps in.

They don't need to be torqued down just lightly snug and they won't leak.

It's interesting cause the oil cap unscrews easily about half turn then it gets harder to unscrew, I guess as long as it doesn't leak it doesn't really matter

Sounds warped or cross threaded.

I really like those caps, they should be smooth and uniform. Wish I had a Flippy oil cap for 346, the gas cap fits but not the oil, uggg

I've noticed the same thing, it's like the washer on the oil cap hangs up as you unscrew it.
Sometimes I remember to not be a ham fisted goon when I do it up, and it comes undone fine. Other times I find more swearing is required, although I haven't ever needed to get past a couple of choice words.
Seems worse if the saw has sat for a while, like it glues itself down.

I consider it a minor annoyance.

It seems like the cap is getting easier to use the more I use it, mabey it just needs to get used more to break in?
