Husqvarna interchange question

Hi Fellas! I have a Husqvarna 40 in my shop for parts (its dead, Jim) and wondered if the oiler assembly would be the same as in my 257. Thanks to anyone who can provide the answer.

I don't think so.

According to this manual the oiler capasity of the 40 is fixed at 8 cubic cm/min at 8500rpm, while it is adjustable from 3-10 on the 257.
