I know...universally hated on here but it started on 2 pulls, i did a Cross MMWS top end on it, shotgun muffler, hi output oiler, tuned 12,200 with 36" bar for break in. All the hardware had locker on it and was all tight. Saw alone was 325.00 shipped. 120.00 top end. 55 dollar muffler. 25 dollar oiler. 85 bar and chain. This is the first new saw ive ever bought in my life.

It’s the only way to get older versions of saws. I’ve been toying with the idea of a hertzl kit 200 and try and find some rear handle plastics or combination thereof. I need a rear handle version. But I’m going to have to figure out which farmertec/ hertzl parts won’t cut it and figure out from there. Be the latest Stihl carb go on it for sure.

Some new models are coming with Walbro carbs. They just released a 272xp kit too. They are getting their act together, figuring it out. Their 30% off sale right now has me wanting to order a G070 for 300 shipped

The only thing i see right off i want to change is it needs an elasto start handle...thing must have 180psi, decomp kicks every pull[emoji23]

Your saw shouldn't be sad, maybe it just needs to be handled more.

Just curious if it came with gasket under muffler cover. Their kit I assembled didn't come with one, wondering if they put one in assembled saw.
I refer to part number 1122 149 0500

There was no gasket there. But after a few runs i pulled the muffler off and i saw no evidence of leakage.

run it 25 to 1 and it may last good 50 to 1 and you are on shaky ground

25:1 mix is what the manual of JonCutter G3800 recommends, which is fine with me since I have been running 32:1 in all my all my other saws for many years.
Yes I know it's old school...

The G660 is a beast. Here is mine, I don't do any milling just tree removal. I am a Husky guy but I prefer this over 390XP. I put on OE Husky decomp, Hyway dual port muffler, everything else Holtzforma. No issues very reliable so far...

Thinking about getting a g660 for milling with a 42” bar. Think it’ll handle it?

I tried to order a ten pack of 372 XP during Christmas but were sold out like ammo. I may get a four pack instead. It has been so nice to know that a couple of saws have a problem there is still one or two with plenty of juice. Thanks
