If it was a geardrive 770, I'd pay 1/8 of his starting bid. Somehow, I doubt it will get any bidders.
Sweet SXL. I loves those saws but that one will end up being a million dollar baby. I used to really like those new old stock but the satisfaction of fixing/resurrecting something from the dead is much more satisfying if not more cost effective.

Here is something everyone is always looking for though I have been told the orange takes a hundred or so coats and neither have very good fuel resistance.
