I thought 029 crank seals were easy to find?

Well I have too but this is a early 029 that has seen lots of use and the seals are very hard.

Believe me I only want to do this job once, so it will be done right the first time and thats why its getting all new rubber put in it everywhere.
 
I have a scored 290 on my hands; the seals look pretty good.

But something made the saw score... :monkey:


I think it was a cracked fuel line that made it run lean... dunno. :confused:

I guess the only answer is to test after rebuilding.


What about a 5mm seal... I looked a little online and there were several 5mm seals.
