I have a top handle to possibly redo and i need some help in figuring out what I have. I will include a photo of the bottom with the number. You really can't see anything else besides made in germany. no history on the saw. there is an "S" in the serial and wondered if this was the 40mm.

it does have a working chain brake and the 020av i saw did not, just a hand guard and the 020t was later, so this one falls in the middle somewhere. Both fill caps are on top. I would appreciate any knowledge you may have on it. Then i can look at parts and see if i want to go any further. thanks

What is your serial number, can you read it? As I know the 020 AVS (super version) was introduced from serial number
6 243 891 and had the 40mm piston.

It`s definitly a 020 saw, because of the the part number starting with 1114 in your picture.

here it is good ole ebay

its a stihl 020AV Super quick stop and its got the S on the end of the part number, interesting.
