Is this advanced stages of CAD?

Could be. I don't have CAD yet, but suffer some symptoms since I have PTAD (power tool equivalent). My cadre of saws is simply a Husky 455 (for ranch work) and a 385 XP (for milling, which I just started). It's amazing what you learn about saws by just reading only a little. Wow, you can sharpen the chains and everything!

To illustrate the Mars/Venus divergence, when my wife suggested (and I offered) that we build some furniture from trees, she saw in her head finsihed tables, bookcases, etc. I saw a new, powerful chainsaw, a planer, a table saw, and lots of noise and sawdust....
