I took the baffle out of the muffler of my Husky 55, adjusted the high speed

mixture by ear. Sure sounded like it was running faster. Bought a dti-20k

tach to check before using it in wood. Let the saw run for a couple of

minutes, checked WOT speed-13,600. Factory is 12,500 I believe. Turned

the H screw about 3/4 turn ccw(still have the limiter caps on), checked again

tach showed 15,070(might have held it at full throttle a second or two longer

than the first try). Idle speed shows 3400-3600 rpm(chain isn't turning). Can

this be correct?

I also checked the idle speed on my 372 and that showed about 3400 rpms.

Any ideas?

Thanks
