Info On Copper Beech

I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON A TREE CALLED 'COPPER BEECH'. THE TAG ON THE TREE SAYS : FAGUS SYLVATICA RIVERSI.
ANOTHER TAG SAYS :RIVERSI BEECH.

ANY REPLY WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Copper beech is "Purpurea" what you are looking at is a rivers or rivers red. There ahs got to be over a hundred cultivars of European beech. Some subsets of older ones. I looked up Dawyk once and found around 20 distinct cvs.
