I guess so with all that carbon buildup. To me, that saw is worth no more than $40.

I'm with Gary, they want way to much for that saw with a top end looking like that. New parts are non existent for the most part.

Figured it was way overpriced, but wanted to get info on it. Were they good saws back in the day? Didn't find much info online for them.

Saws of that era were loud, slow and heavy when compared to what is available today. For $200 you could have an 026/260 or 346 that is half the weight and cuts twice as fast.

I enjoy collecting the old sandcast Poulans and would like to add that particular model since I don't have that one, but honestly I would not do over $50 for that model in that as found condition.
