iron oak to brave

Wondering what is the differrence in Iron & oak & Brave.It looks like they are made by the same Co. I have found a Brave 26 ton for 1379. The 22 ton with the shorter rail for 979.Has anybody tried the shorter rail

I have a 22 ton Brave (about 12-15 years old) and it works great. It does have the full beam. I am not sure what most people use, but mine will split just about anything(just finished with some 24"+ locust).
