Also if the porting is not the same it's apples and oranges.

But just for for laughs 82.4/70.7 is about 1.16 so 16% difference in displacement so a 14% gain in cut time is right in the ballpark. Likely the BB turns just a little slower in the cut so loses a little in chain speed.

I got several other videos and found the bb kit about 1 second faster in cut. 7 pin was about .3-.4 sec slower in cut. The bar was buried in the pine which probaly slow down the cut time. (well, seems to me at least)

In my defense, both saws are mildly ported but 044 probably got little bit more work done than my new BB kit with one tank through it.
