O have a jonsenred 2172 turbo, it will only start if gas is put directly into the carburetor, then dies out. The carburetor is pulling fuel into it but it won't run unless fuel is poured into carburetor even then only runs for a second. The carburetor is brand new. Any ideas?

Bad gas in tank? Impulse hose cracked or disconnected? Read the spark plug for signs of how it's been running at the last. I would pull the muffler and look at the piston and cylinder condition before going farther except for a compression test if its not obviously enough.
