I got a fellows jony 920 says wont start I checked spark nothing it s the 2 piece kind the one by flywheel checks out with a ohm meter but I cant get anything from the spark plug lead to ground

also I was wondering I know you cant get thin rings but is the gulf or lilred barn piston a reasonable replacement ?

The tag says 920 but the clutch cover has 920 super on it anything to worry about ?

Any help would be Nice !

thanks

Mike

Disconnect the kill wire from the coil and verify no spark before ordering new coils. They are the same ones used on the 288 Husky and are still available but $$$$ I have never personally run one but weimdog had a Golf piston in a 820 ( same chassis but 52mm instead of 54mm) that he milled with and he said it performed and held up well when running on 32:1 mix. If the jug is going to be off I would take the time to grind out the lower transfers to 930 specs, a lot of power to be gained by this one mod.
