Jug ID help?

Anyone know what this P&C are for? Got in a box of other goodies. LOL Its 46mm TIA !
Just in case someone needs it let me know? It has one scratch that goes all the way to the top.But I wouldn't be afraid to use.

Looks like the jug was made by KolbenSchmidt - but I don't know what saw it is for.
