What about this "We Be Trees" or what ever his name is here in town.

Haven't had any dealings with him personally Mckee. I know you can see his lot off of HWY 75 here and he has a billboard on his property. Haven't looked too close but it does look like he has a couple of buckets and other large equipment. Not a huge operation but not too small either. I haven't heard anything about him from any of my clients or people I have done sales calls for So I have not heard one word good or bad about him. I did pass one of his crews on the road last week and they smiled and waved. Seemed like some nice enough guys.

Are you in town now?

I have been in OKC for 2 days being poked and prodded by doctors. I'm back in Tulsa for tonight but only because I have to move some wood first thing in the morning. As soon as I finish that it is back to OKC to my Aunt's house. I will be staying there while I have to go through treatment.

I would say lets hookup but they shot me full of some kind of crap before they did the CT scan on me and it has me feeling like pure ####. I'm out of here as soon as I finish my work and pay my guys tomorrow.

We are here until Sat. afternoon. I am here with my wife for a seminar she had to attend for her work. She is having some health problems and I didn't want her to be up here without me. I missed 64 coming in by not paying attention and ended up in north Tulsa. Rough place. What is ailing you? We have been through a lot here lately with my wife and I know it's tough on the whole family.

Hey Jeff, As far as making money, when I first got here no one knew how to do big trees hardly. I mean we have a few straight up guys but Nosack is one of our biggest services around here, if you have seen his work. I came from Atlanta where the trees are a lot bigger. It was like cake to me. The trees are elementary. I made great money when I got here and with the low cost of living it went a lot further. I am still the best in town around here if you ask me... :D

Nosack! HA!
Jeff

Nosack! HA!
Jeff

OK, Well you are sure the best around! Why did you leave a big city and go to "NO_SACK" land? The last place I would leave is where I live which is the most (almost) expensive place to live. Atlanta is a good market unless the job spec's require stuff you ain't got. Right?
No hard feelings?
Jeff

Dealing with the big C Mckee. I am seeing specialists in Oklahoma City. That's why I am between here and there.

Best to your wife buddy.

Jeff, I did great in Atlanta. Work was going great and I had actually gone back to college there at the time I got sick the first time. this is the second go 'round with the big C for me. It's what brought me to OK in the first place. I was dealing with physical limitations after the first time and needed (and wanted) to be closer to my family.

what-a-stihl, Rodeo school in Olathe? Must have been with George Stinberger. Hell of a good man. Known him about all my life trained horse for us back when I was a kid. I learned to bare back bronc with him back then. Haven't seen him for a few years after he sold his place to the county for a park. Can't remember where it is he moved to. Somewhere just south of Ottawa I think.

Now I feel like a total ####!
Jeff
sorry.

No worries Jeff. I didn't take any offense. It is what it is.

To tell the truth, I didn't miss the rat race of Atlanta when I left there. It was a good market but very competitive by the time I left. I started doing tree work there in 91 and left there in 2001. When I got here and healed up enough to work I found the market less competitive and the clientele more down to earth. Oklahoma has been good to me. I love the people here.

Tree md, I hope the best for you and your family and pray for a quick recovery from your ailment.

The name sounds familiar. It was Lyle Sankey's rodeo school but it was also in partnership with fellowship of christian cowboy. I think the owner of the establishment was the Labeth's, their son Dusty rode bulls with us. Hell it's been 13 years since I was there, but I liked the area though. Do you still ride?
