I recently bought a house with a woodboiler that heats the house and the shop. The system was installed somewhere around 2001. All of my hot water runs from the boiler are ran in the orange Kitec tubing including the main run and In the floor of the basement and the house garage. Sounds like Kitec is known to fail and has a class action lawsuit (that I missed out on) against it. Is anyone on here running it still with out any problems? Wondering if I’m on borrowed time. Being that there is very little pressure in the lines I wonder if it would ever fail? It’s a heatmor 200ss running on glycol.
