"leaking" Furitless Mulberry

Hi there,
My fruitless mulberry tree is leaking what may be sap, but is not sticky, from the bottom of where two large branches meet. Is this normal? Should I panic? What, if anything, do I need to do. It is just beginning to set out some new leaves. It was prunned back this year.
