I feel your PAIN! I sell as much as I can to pay for her highness's propane. The shop stays HOT (I cut a lot of cookies)
Actually, her highness is the best thing that ever happened to me I like the Buckin' I swear I hang 3 out of five that I try to fell.....

400 acres of hard woods here, married 34 years, always had a stove in the house!

I wanted to see how much I could fit in my truck... My buddy doesn't like to stack wood in the truck. He thinks it takes too much time.

my cutting partner says that if you don't stack neatly the cuervos (crows) will see the holes where they can build nests and follow you home. we split rounds on site to wedge into any available place. we call the splits... cuervos, what else. it helps keep the load from shifting during the descent to asphalt.

This particular trip was only two miles from home. When we're way out of town, we stack it high and pack it tight!
