Live Oak health concerns

I really like the branching on this Cathedral Live Oak. Before I have it installed in my yard I wanted to get more info on a few of my concerns. Please add any information you have.

I would not buy that tree, poor branch structure. What you are calling pruning I believe is old storm damage. The oak is still very young and will grow out and overcome the issues. Unless the nursery is willing to discount the tree I would keep looking.
