Log Hauling

I purchase several tractor trailer loads of oak pulpwood during the winter for my part time firewood business. Usually I have to wait longer than I would like for the wood to be delivered.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum that sells firewood has their own log truck to bring to the landing for the logger to load.

We thought about it, straight boom trucks can be had pretty cheap, but the insurance, tags, and upkeep will suck the $$$ out of your wallet!
