what is the best pump for a log splitter and that will make the cycle time faster i had a 8hp on it befor and the motor took a crack now i have a 11hp and would like to get a better pump so the cycle time will be faster let me no with links or names of the pumps and stuff thank you jim

With a 11 hp. engine you can go with a 22 gpm 2-stage pump. The bigger pump will require larger hoses, larger return filter, and at least a 15 gallon reservoir.
Haldex/Barnes manufactures the majority of the 2-stage pumps which are often sold under house brand names. MTE is the next biggest supplier. IFP is a import that has entered the market in the last couple years. Price will vary greatly I have seen the price go from $200 - $350 for the same brand pump. I got my 22 gpm pump off Ebay for $200.
