Looking for a project saw. Got my first Stihl (024av) and am hooked! Been watching a lot of videos and stalking the forum and am interested in trying my hand on a Stihl project saw. Let me know what you have. Looking for something bigger than the 024av. I live in NJ (07747).

More modern but would be open to anything as long as there are ample parts available.

I have a bunch of McCulloch 610's. Some don't consider them the prettiest chainsaw, but they are virtually indestructible as firewood saws. I easily run a 24 inch bar off of them with no trouble at all. All of them have IMG_20200512_171304.jpgIMG_20200512_171311.jpgIMG_20200512_171356.jpgIMG_20200512_171409.jpgIMG_20200512_171453.jpgspark and fire on prime. They will need carb kits, and likely fuel lines. $85 each plus shipping.

Thanks but that's not really what I'm looking for right now.

I've got a nice 031 complete bar/chain runner clean looking.
2-032's- one is a parts saw with a chainbrake and electronic the other is complete bar/chain non electronic and no brake but shouldn't take much.
Vintage for sure but decent older saws and great firewood cutters. If interested I can send you some pic's. Pricing will be very reasonable.
Let me know, Thanks, TLG
