looking for some info on a Homelite XL-2

I was cleaning out our barn today when i found a old saw in a box of my grand dads old garden tool parts.

There isn't a plate on it to tell me the serial number or date it was made.
I searched ebay and i found a picture close to what the saw looks like.
Except the saw i have has all orange/red handel no black and the bar and chain are missing.

Any info on the saw would be great.
I haven't cleaned it and tried to start it but if its like the other old saws ive used it'll start no problem.
