I have a chainsaw sthil ms661. Its simple. It has a button with 4 functions. The carb can be adjusted . Can I modify it to M-Tronic? Is it worth it or ?

That’s an interesting question. I don’t know, but I’m thinking not worth it. Mainly because you can’t program the electronics unless you are a dealer.

Just learn how to tune the carb and keep a small screw driver in your pocket.

I'd think it's possible, but you're gonna need several parts. Give a call to Nate, @fordf150. Unless I'm confusing him with someone else, I think he's swapped several 661s from manual to m-tronic. Maybe he's got some spare parts.
