Mcculloch 570 pro mac

my friend has a pro mac 570 and says he might sell it to me for $50. Does anyone know anything about this saw? cc's? what are your opinions on Mcculloch. thanks all

I believe its similar to the PM610, which is a rather tough homeowners saw.

No its a completely different saw the PM 570 is a 10 series saw whereas the PM610 is a 600 series saw like chalk and cheese i recall that the PM 570 was also cushion mounted like the old SP 80/81 and later 800 models but only around 58cc don't hold me to the engine size another great farm saw like the 600 series. If you look at the pic i have attached the 570 is very similier in a lot of ways to the 800 series.

when did they stop making these saws? did mac go under for a reason. I heard they sre still in production some places. how would you rate this saw against a stihl 340? thanks again
