mcculloch 610 without carb $10?

guy has a mac 610. he said tryed to fix the carb and lost it. wants to sell it to me for $10. Is this saw worth the trouble? If it is the one I found on the net it weighs around 20lbs. and is a 60cc.

Several threads about the weight. It is one of those saws you either love or hate. I have one and love it. For $10 it sounds liek a good deal if it is only a carb problem.

And I have a spare carb you can have, if you buy it (the 10$ saw). The carb needs a kit but I didn't rebuild cause you can buy a whole new carb on ebay for $20.00

Yeah, the saw is love it or hate it. Mine's a toy and I like to play with it, if I have to atually produce firewood quickly I grab something else.
