Nah! The MS390 was back to me in about six weeks. The Pull-on 4000 took many months longer.

I'm hoping my MS261C is closer to the 390 time frame.

If'n I was to spend the same money today, I would probably get a CS-620P(mag case, adjustable oiler, aluminum wrap handle, rim drive), but that 391 will serve you well. Buy a second muffler, and let it breathe. It'll really perk up.

When you say buy a second muffler, do you mean do a muff mod on the second one?

Yes. Keep the OEM one for warranty purposes.

I wouldn't say to get more out of it (which is a bonus).

The muff mod is going to let that thing breath easier and run cooler, longer life span.

Local to me MS391 with a 20" 3/8 set up $569.95 MSRP. CS-620 with a 20" 3/8 set up $549.99 MSRP.
