Mccullouch chain saw

I have a Mccullouch chain saw that starts on the first four pulls and runs great, but if it runs out of gas or I turn it off there is no way I can start it until it has cooled down aprox 2hours. Does anyone know what the problem is???

I've had the same problem. Replacing the spark plug has always solved the problem for me. Cleaning the old plug also helps, but not for long, at least in my experience.
