Did older 10-10 's have a different air filter than the newer ones? It looks like the new ones I see on eBay are flatter.

Yes, in fact there were 3 or 4 older "dome" type filters before the more modern "Pro Mac" style that are indeed flatter.

The older filters are getting pretty hard to find and costly, the PM style are still widely available and reasonably priced.

can someone give me a place to look for the pro mac 650 air filter 45213 or 214226 I seen one on ebay for over 30 bucks for a air filter??? can the old ones be covered with something to eliminate the pin holes in the old ones?? most sites list them as out of stock. thanks
