mods for the 024av?

I have an old 024av.. Are there any performance mods for this saw that are worth doing? Already have a 660 mag. Now I wanna see what the little guy can do. Its never been in for service for any reason and still starts on the second pull. I would like some reliable mods.. Or is it even worth my time?

Yes it is worth the time and a muffler mod does wonders on this saw. It really helped mine quite a bit, i do not have any pictures but enlarging the holes in the muffler and possibly removing or opening the baffles is what is done.
