Saw troll, I have no personal vice, but the almighty dollar or personal contact works real well. Any phone contact?? I am not against anyone but as a new member reading and learning everyone knows everyone. Norway is a long way to dish without any personal contact. I know I might anger some of my friends here, but it gets old without proof. I like proof.

I was on a gun forum for years to find out that the constant flag carrier for one side turned out to be a kid who never owned a single firearm. Unjust wanted everyone to know where I am coming from. He was a member with 25k posts in his bedroom at 15

So you don't trust people from places you can't drive to? or people who aren't your friends?

If you wanted personal contact theres plenty of other websites for that..

I trust people that I have had contact with, otherwise get burnt one time and talk to me afterwards. I have an uncle who flies the space shuttle also. I am done

praise the lard! He's done. Thank you.

You can rest easy, you will not be burned in a deal by a man that doesn't even sell saws. Big sigh of relief for us all.

Trust issues are really tough. There are some good psychiatrists out there for that.

To get back on track the M-tronics and Autotunes are here to stay, they are going to allow saws to stay in optimun tune irregardless of the gas we use in them, the altitude they are run at and are really simple devices. I know in the case of the Mtronic it monitors what is going on something like 33 times a second, it allows us to get the maximun performance out of the platform. It is an excellent move on Stihl's part to expand it to more and more models, just a precusor to the true digital fuel injected models. The digital fuel injection is going to be so simple to work on, the only pieces to fail are the injection pump or injector, neither can be worked on, it's just removing a couple of screws and placing on a new injector. Saw performance will take another leap forward. With the simplified statro design of the 461 going to be the design on 60cc saws and above it will keep prices competitive, below 60cc you'll still see the 261 design. At least the 60cc and up new designs coming down the pike should all be lighter, like the 661 is going to be. Irregardless of brand the competion is driving technolgy to new levels.

Also say good bye to the MS 250, it's going away just like the 290, the 251 will be the replacement prolly around May, lots of 250's still setting on the shelves.

I wonder if Husky will be paying Stihl to use their injection technology soon? That'll shut Niko up! Haha!

Next time you speak to Mr Stihl tell him I need a fuel injected turbo charged MS261 with a stainless steel muffler and a 20" light weight bar.

SawTroll -

ENOUGH with the bashing!

S.T. is pretty much Black and White - calls it as HE sees it.

If Stihl made a 375-1/8, lowest weight/Kw[hp] ratio, perfect balance, no f-caps, USER adjustable carb, almost instant revving saw, he'd almost s..t himself and WOULD admit it.

If Husquvarna made a 666 weighing in at #15, in-board clutch, a cap that REQUIRES you to use THEIR scrench, epoxied carb, as fast revving as a Ford Escort, he'd bash it to oblivion!

He's more "paper" than "user" - but sometimes that reminds us that paper can be wrong.

I've seen more ST banter in the last few weeks here, than I've seen since I joined. Call me petty, but I've had enough of this BS.

I'd love to see some posts pared from this thread. There's some really good info here.

Indiansprings, did you say the fuel injected saws will require priming 5 pushes before each start? if so i hope they don't it will in my opinion take stihl out of the market as far as tree services go, you may start a saw in the bucket or in tree 50-100 times on a tree and this would force me to never buy a stihl again... hope it's not true. How is the fuel injection system getting its pressure?? and it has a electronic fuel injector? say it ain't so...

there is some tech literature on teh injected cutoff saw on Stihl's site. It has a little pressure pump. I don't know why it would need the priming each time (or at all?) unless run out of fuel. Wouldn't it have a little inline pressure reservoir after the pump before the injector? It shouldn't need air purged unless it was ran dry no?

The problem is he's rarely ever seen it and sure hasn't ever used it.

Sam

That may be true.

BUT... how many models, from ANY mfg. has he seen/used, that WE never heard/seen?

I'm in no way a fanboi - just calling it as "I" see it....

No disrespect intended to either.
