MS-441CM Possible Throttle cable stretched?

I recently, with some help, put a new piston in a MS441CM i got for free and when putting everything back together, i noticed im having some throttle issues. Im curious if perhaps the throttle cable got stretched, because as far as I can tell, it looks positioned properly, but when you engage the trigger you can see that it doesnt open up all the way.

Ive attached photos of the throttle cable and also a photo showing how its not opening up all the way. Not sure what would be causing that other than perhaps a stretched throttle cable.

I think it is not stretched. I think the outer sheath is not into a holding place in one end or the other. What do you guys think? Mike

Mike, for yucks i took the carb back off and pushed the cable n sheath back a bit and reseated the cable in the little holder! Thought that was going to be the ticket, but alas still only opening about 80% ! Thats when i got frustrated and decided to call it a day.
